Jose Maria Sison a.k.a Joma Sison founder on the Communist Party of the Philippines enjoys a luxurious life in the Netherlands while the members of New People’s Army the armed wing of the Communist Party of the Philippines are just sleeping under the stars.
The New People’s Army 46th Anniversary is fast approaching! Every March 29 of each year marks the birth of the NPAs incomprehensible, selfish and unthinkable struggle. Their 46 years of existence are years of KILLINGS, ARSONS, EXTORTION, DECEPTION AND HUMAN VIOLENCE. They are in their 46 years and still in counting.
Now, weeks before the celebration of this rebel group anniversary, they never fail to spread fear to the hearts of the Filipinos. In Eastern Mindanao alone, it is almost every day that they signified their existence through celebrating life with cruelty and brutality. The incident of arson in Bukidnon, attacks of military and PNP camps in Davao, killings of Military Personnel in Agusan, encounters in Agusan, ComVal and other areas are just few of their many malicious activities to promote justice and fairness.
MAKIBAKA, ‘WAG MATAKOT! IMPERIALISMO, IBAGSAK! are the usual lines that can be associated to them. The lines that they take pride shouting in the streets and usually used in the preaching con poisoning innocent minds of our youth. Deception it is.
The 46 years will surely be in counting. But if we take our stand and unmask the NPA to reveal their true self, then the true struggle for our liberty from their deception will be put to an end.
We should learn. We should act. We should stop being fooled by the NEW PEOPLE’s ARMY!
